If the soleplate of your iron is dirty...

1. Vinegar and Salt: Mix some vinegar with warm water and apply the mixture to the iron soleplate using a cloth or sponge. Sprinkle some salt on it and use a cloth or sponge to gently scrub it. Then rinse thoroughly with warm water.

2. Lemon Juice and Salt: Prepare a mixture of lemon juice and salt and apply this mixture to the iron soleplate. Remove stains with the gentle scrubbing effect of the salt. Then wipe the soleplate with a clean cloth or sponge and rinse with warm water.

3. Aluminum Foil: Fold a piece of aluminum foil and sprinkle some salt on it. Rub the heated soleplate of the iron over the salted aluminum foil. This method can help remove sticky substances from the soleplate.

4. Cotton and Vinegar: Soak cotton in vinegar and then wipe the heated soleplate of the iron with it. The acidic nature of vinegar helps remove stains.

5. Iron Cleaning Sprays: You can also clean the iron soleplate using iron cleaning sprays or iron cleaning products. These products usually work according to the instructions.

After using any cleaning method, wipe the soleplate thoroughly with warm water and a clean cloth to remove any residue. The important thing is to keep the soleplate cool and be careful as some materials can scratch or damage the soleplate.
